The Hub held its official opening ceremony yesterday! The event was attended by Her Majesty Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso, who made a speech and officially opened The Hub. The Honourable Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture also spoke at the event, as did representatives from our two primary sponsors – Standard Lesotho Bank and the Vodacom Lesotho Foundation. We also enjoyed lively dance performances by Morija Girls’ High School and the Likakapa Youth Theatre Club. Thank you so much to everyone who came out yesterday to celebrate this special day with us. We would especially like to thank Morija Museum and Archives, Cafe Mojo, and our partners and friends from Africa’s Green Generation and Ba re e ne re Literature Festival. The Hub’s doors are now officially open, and anybody who is interested in becoming a member is welcome to come and sign up!
