We are proud to announce that The Hub, a new creative technology lab in Morija, will have its official opening on the 11th of August, 2015! The ceremony will be held at the Morija Museum and Archives (MMA), and will go hand-in-hand with the launch of the new Morija Cultural Precinct, an innovative partnership between MMA, Cafe Mojo, the Morija Arts Centre and The Hub. The ceremony will be an afternoon event, where invited guests will have the opportunity to take a tour of The Hub and the Cultural Precinct. Her Majesty ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso will be present at the event, and will officially open The Hub. Other distinguished guests will include Morena oa Morija, Morena oa Matsieng, Vodacom Lesotho Foundation, Standard Lesotho Bank and the Minister of Culture.
Following the ceremony, The Hub will be officially open and will be welcoming people to sign up for membership and to begin to make use of its facilities. We look forward to working with members of the Morija community and its surrounding areas, and are truly excited that the vision of The Hub will soon become a reality!
